01 January 2022 – Year recap

We are thrilled to announce that our new partner, Last Boss 88, is developing an exciting new PC shoot’em up game called SHINORUBI. This ultra HD game features Vulkan and DX11 and is being made with the help of two members of the realtech VR team, Romuald and Vincent. SHINORUBI will be available on Steam Early Access in January 2022, and we invite you to check out the link and show your support. Congratulations to the Last Boss 88 team!
Additionally, OpenGL Extensions View 6 now includes Vulkan rendering tests and Vulkan reports on Android. We have also made significant improvements to SkyORB 2021, including a satellites chart, new 3D star map, deep objects 3D map, and an improved engine for Metal and GLES 3.2. SkyORB will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2022!

We are also excited to announce that our long-term evolved V3X.net engine, which has been in development since 1995, is getting a DX12 renderer and fully featured Vulkan rendering for PC. We have licensed the engine to Last Boss 88 for their game development, marking a return to our roots as a commercial engine in the early 2000s. We are proud to have clients like Last Boss 88 and look forward to seeing the incredible games they will create using our technology.
